Proper emergency services require a thorough understanding of cleaning and drying science, principles of construction, industry standards (e.

The successful Lead Restoration Technician will work closely with R1-CMD's owner & Production Manager to establish and extend our culture of service delivery excellence.
The Lead Restoration Tech will mentor junior technicians, teaching the methods, professionalism, and judgment required to excel as a member of our team.
The Lead Tech will be assigned a to drive to and from job sites, garage at their personal residence, secure, and keep clean and stocked.
As expected in our industry, the Lead Tech will share on call duties with other technicians for after hours service for which premium pay will be paid.
The successful lead tech will possess and demonstrate the combined mix of customer focus, restoration technical skill, and teamwork.
Responsibilities Work closely with R1-CMD owner & Production Manager to establish and sustain our company culture and reputation Train, develop, and mentor junior crew members to insure proper attitude, work techniques, and safety Communicate professionally with clients, employees, insurance adjusters and agents, trade partners, and the general public Establish and maintain safe work environments - for our customers and staff Conduct initial assessments to determine extent of and required strategy to remediate property damage Lead restoration efforts for water, smoke, fire, and mold projects Supervise up to 3 technicians, responsible for crew's productivity, quality, and reputation Perform all reasonable efforts to maintain the cleanliness, stocking, and security of assigned vehicle and equipment Perform, as part of each project team, all tasks necessary to complete restoration services Utilize Restoration 1's restoration management system (DR1VE) to plan, monitor, document, and submit restoration activity history (training on proprietary system will be provided) What We Offer Work with a growing company Advancement opportunities Competitive pay Bonus opportunities Requirements Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality restoration services Valid driver's license without a major violation A high school diploma, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, AMRT) preferred; willingness and ability to obtain certification required (company will pay fees and costs) Customer service mindset; true desire to help others Ability to maintain respectfulness and patience, even in times of conflict Demonstrate honesty, dependability, efficiency, and quality in all activities and interactions Commitment to remain available and ready for duty at all times while on call Effective communicator Ability to assign tasks to, motivate, and supervise the quality of high performance teams consisting of up to 3 people Attention to detail with regards to restoration techniques and IICRC standards of care Eager to learn and acquire new skills Convey a sense of pride - in our work and our company At least some sense of humor!
