What You'll Do:
You are going to be talking with clients.
A lot.
Sometimes in person, sometimes on your company provided phone, and sometimes by email on your company provided computer.
Good verbal and written communication is a must.
You are going to drive.
In your take home company vehicle, with a company gas card, you will drive around the Baltimore/Washington area selling irrigation and lighting systems.
A good driving record is a must, (for our insurance company.
) You will design custom irrigation and outdoor lighting systems that work and look great.
You will receive ongoing training to ensure you are up to date on the latest technologies and methods to provide the best systems for your customers.
You will work with management and the owner to make sure that you have the right tools to sell as much irrigation and lighting as you can in order for you to make as much money as you can.
Job Requirements You should have a minimum of 2-5 years sales/design experience, portfolio of past work is a plus.
You will need to have knowledge of various design and installation methods of landscape irrigation and outdoor low voltage lighting systems.
You must be able to analyze plans, specifications, make site visits and complete thorough take-offs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to a wide variety of individuals.
Must have a valid driver's license and able to pass a background check Benefit Conditions:
