Field Interviewers

The University of Michigan Survey Research Center (SRC) is part of the nation's largest academically-based social science and research organization. SRC is seeking part-time Field Interviewers in the Washington, DC area to work on the prestigious Health and Retirement Study (HRS).
Field interviewers will make face-to-face visits to conduct lengthy in-home interviews with selected adults, taking physical measures and biomarkers including grip strength, saliva, and blood samples.
Highly qualified interviewers will have good computer skills, have reliable transportation with insurance (mileage is reimbursable), be comfortable working in a variety of neighborhoods, and be available to work up to 30 hours/week spread evenly over weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
The pay rate for the Washington, DC area is $17.00/hr. Paid training.
Interviewers who test as proficient with conducting interviews in English and Spanish may receive an additional $2/hour. Successful completion of home study sessions and in-person training are mandatory for employment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
